TotalEnergies is a global multi-energy company committed to producing and supplying more affordable, reliable and cleaner energy. With operations in over 130 countries, TotalEnergies has been a key player in advancing renewable energy in Portugal - a country increasingly recognised for its significant strides in green energy production.
This milestone comes after a successful three-month trial collaboration with TotalEnergies REN Portugal, during which we provided accurate and reliable power production forecasts, helping streamline energy management and optimise output for TotalEnergies’ solar farms in the Alentejo region.
Our model’s forecasts were compared to TotalEnergies’ existing forecasting provider and consistently delivered higher accuracy in predicting power production, leading to significant improvements in cutting down costs associated with the energy market penalties.
By partnering with us, solar energy operators on the farm will benefit from our industry-leading technology, designed to offer more than just forecasting, but to maximise the potential of renewable energy sources.
